佛教并非宿命論（中英雙語(yǔ)）

　　佛教的業(yè)力說(shuō)與宿命論是截然不同的，雖然說(shuō)現(xiàn)生的果報(bào)體或苦或樂(lè)，皆是受前生的業(yè)力影響，但現(xiàn)在的行為活動(dòng)，完全可以改善當(dāng)前的苦與樂(lè)。所以，我們要肯定現(xiàn)生行為的價(jià)值，若想得好的果報(bào)，當(dāng)下就要努力行善，通過(guò)自己的行為，也只有通過(guò)自己的行為才能使自身和境遇變得越來(lái)越好。

　　Buddhist Karmic Theory is completely different from fatalism. Although the fruits (vipāka) of karma in this life are bitter or happy, which are all affected by the previous life, the present actions and activities can completely improve the present suffering and happiness. Therefore, we must affirm the value of behaviors in this life. If we want to attain good karma, we must work hard to do good deeds now. We can transform ourselves only through our own behaviors and also our situations can become better and better.
