　　修學(xué)佛法必以發(fā)心立愿為始。發(fā)菩提心，立菩提愿，行菩提道，證菩提果，如此才堪為大乘佛弟子。

　　Buddhist study must start with making a resolution and wish. The disciples of the Buddha who practice Mahāyāna should develop the Bodhicitta （an awakening mind）， make the Bodhi （awakening） wish, take the Bodhi path and attain the Bodhi fruition.
